Rico is a Detroit native and former Host of "The Spartan Beat" in Lansing. He was also a co-host of “The Ryan and Rico Show” for Detroit Sports 105.1. Rico is an MSU alumnus and a Heisman Trophy voter. He has worked in the media for over two decades covering not only Michigan State, but also all of the Detroit pro teams and even the University of Michigan. He has worked in television in Detroit (Fox2) and Lansing (Fox47) and has covered 9 Final Fours, 3 Stanley Cups, 2 NBA Finals, 5 college football bowl games and 2 World Series. Rico has also been a College Professor/Instructor.
