Craig Gets An Early Birthday Present

For those of you who don't know, my birthday is next week. I say that only to point it out, not to mug for compliments or anything.

It is Dec. 22, three days before Christmas.

When I was a kid, I got gypped. I'd get the standard: "You will get your birthday presents for Christmas."

My friends with June birthdays had parties and stuff. I had two birthday parties when I was growing up. One at 4, and one at 19. I usually got taken to dinner for my birthday and maybe 20 bucks.

Nowadays, I'd LOVE to go to dinner for my birthday.

But more importantly I got a nice drawing from my daughter.

My kids are very talented. My son is a math wiz (and does NOT get that from me) and my daughter is the artist.
