Hear Rick Springfield’s New Single ‘Light This Party Up’ [Video]

Rick Springfield is back with a new song and a new album. Springfield just debuted the new tune “Light This Party,” the first single off his upcoming album “Rocket Science,” set to drop February 19^th. 

While Springfield insists the record is not a country album, it was influenced by his love for country music and he even collaborated with  Rascal Flatts Jay DeMarcus, as well as, J.T. Harding. “I like all the elements of country,” he said. “Honestly, Nashville is where pop music has gone -- that's where all the great playing is and all the great hooks are coming from. And these are players that grew up listening to me and people like me, so there's mutual love."

Springfield will be appearing with Eddie Money December 28 at the Soaring Eagle Casino in Mt. Pleasant.
