Michigan State Honors 102 Year Old Pearl Harbor Vet, Great Grandfather of MSU Senior
It's a common practice to honor veterans before or during a sporting event, with many leading the crowd in the national anthem. Last night was Michigan State's final home game of the season, which the program uses to celebrate its senior students. It's a celebration and is usually the biggest game of the year.

Considering last night was the biggest home game of the year, Michigan State University went all out by welcoming a very special guest, a 102-year-old Pearl Harbor veteran, one of 12 still alive today, as revealed during the broadcast. It was a beautiful moment seeing Earl "Chuck" Kohler saluting at halfcourt with his son and grandson beside him.
But things got even more wholesome when it was revealed that Chuck is the great-great-grandfather of MSU standout Jaxon Kohler, and Jaxon and the rest of the Spartans, including Sparty, approached him at halfcourt to thank him for his service and a pre-game fistbump.
The Spartans wrap up their regular season on Sunday against in-state rival Michigan Wolverines at the Crisler Center.
