
It’s Official! The Blue Angels Are Set to Perform Again at the Traverse City Cherry Festival
One of the coolest things in the world that I've ever seen, is the Blue Angels flying high in the sky.

The plane which is a Boeing F/A-18E/F Super Hornet is painted in a beautiful blue and gold color.
These highly skilled pilots travel through the sky at speeds up to 700mph.

While in the air, they fly in incredibly close formations, with just 18 inches between the planes at times.
This past summer they made an appearance at Thunder Over Michigan which took place at Willow Run Airport in Ypsilanti.
Earlier this week at the International Council of Air Shows (ICAS) conference in Las Vegas, it was announced that the Blue Angels are scheduled to perform in Michigan in 2027.

They will be coming back to the National Cherry Festival in Traverse City on July 3-4, 2027

I've never been to Traverse City for the Cherry Festival, but am planning on checking it out in 2027 for the fun and the chance to see the Blue Angels perform.
