Michigan Ski Resort’s New Snow Fort Bar Is a Winter Must-See
Winter in Michigan is inevitable, so why not make the most of it? While we may not love driving on the roads in bad weather or clearing the snow from our driveways, there are tons of ways to enjoy a Michigan winter.

One Michigan ski resort is now offering up a truly unique cocktail experience - grabbing a drink inside a snow fort.
Boyne Mountain Resort Opens New Snow Fort/Igloo Bar
Boyne Mountain, known for great skiing hills and unique experiences like SkyBridge, has opened up yet another attraction for visitors - a bar made completely out of snow that they have named Iglu.
This place is awe-inspiring and appears to be the work of Alpeniglu out of Austria. Keen-eyed observers spotted staff from Alpeniglu around town recently. Alpeniglu refers to itself as "The Snow Architects".

In addition to the indoor bar space, Iglu also features an outdoor seating area with fire pits and chairs.
When is Iglu at Boyne Mountain Resort Open?
If you're planning to make the trip to Boyne to check out Iglu, you'll want to plan ahead. The snow fort bar is open Wednesday and Thursday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m.
And, much like anything made of ice and snow, its condition and hours of operation may vary based on the weather.
Also of note - Iglu is completely cashless.
