The Grand Rapids Griffins Are Giving Away Free Bike Helmets Next Week
When I was growing up, the neighborhood kids and I would go to so many different places, and have so much fun by riding our bikes everywhere.

One thing we all hated to do was wear our helmets, but it's a good thing our parents made us because one of the kids in the neighborhood was riding his bike, and ended up falling off and hitting his head.
Thankfully the helmet took most of the damage, and after getting checked out at the hospital he was fine and just had some minor bumps and bruises.
If you're a parent in West Michigan and your kid needs a helmet, you can get one for free.
The Grand Rapids Griffins are teaming up with Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital for their 23rd annual "Put A Lid On It!" campaign.
They will be giving away 200 free bike helmets to kids next week.
Here is when and where you need to go to get one for your kid.
