There are eight scheduled road closures that are going to impact Michigan drivers across the state, including right here in West Michigan.

Let's take a look at where the road closures are happening so hopefully you can avoid them completely or at least find a better way to get to where you need to head this week.

I-75 (Oakland County)

  • What: Northbound left lane closed.
  • Where: Between Farrand Road and Lake Road (near Clio Country Club).
  • When: Sunday (today) from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

M-5 (Wayne County - Grand River Ave.)
Two different closures for eastbound M-5:

  • What: Eastbound right lane closed.
  • Where: Around Plymouth Road.
  • When: Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • What: Eastbound right lane closed.
  • Where: Between Livernois Avenue and Joy Road.
  • When: Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

I-94 BL (Berrien County - Lakeshore Drive)
Northbound Lane:

  • What: One lane closed.
  • Where: From Hawthorne Avenue to Hilltop Road.
  • When: Starts Monday at 7 a.m. and continues through November 27.

Southbound Lane:

  • What: Right lane closed (continuing closure).
  • Where: Between Locust Lane and Marquette Woods Road.
  • When: Expected to continue through December.

I-275 (Monroe County)

  • What: Complete intermittent overnight shutdown.
  • Where: Southbound between Newport Road and I-75.
  • When: Tuesday night from 7 p.m. until Wednesday morning at 5 a.m.

U.S. 127 (Jackson County)

  • What: Intermittent northbound right lane closures.
  • Where: Between Brooklyn Road and South Street.
  • When: Tuesday (8 a.m.) through Thursday (4 p.m.).

I-96 (Eaton County)

  • What: Westbound one lane closed.
  • Where: Between Creyts Road and Lansing Road.
  • When: Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

M-29 (St. Clair County - Riverside Ave.)

  • What: Total closure for a special event.
  • Where: Both directions between Brown Street and Clinton Avenue.
  • When: Friday evening from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Detour: Brown Street, Carney Drive, and Clinton Avenue.

U.S. 131 (Kent County - Grand Rapids)

  • What: Entrance ramp closed.
  • Where: Market Avenue entrance ramp to southbound U.S. 131.
  • When: Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
