A Michigan Man’s Road Trip Routine Just Scored Him a Massive Jackpot
A Michigan man says that his road trip tradition is the reason that he is now $2 million richer!

The 27-year-old man from Mackinac County recently won big playing The Michigan Lottery's Two Million Dollar Cashword instant game.
While we don't know the winner's identity, we do know that he bought the winning ticket as part of a road trip routine.
The winner recently made a trip down to Michigan Lottery headquarters in Lansing to collect his money and shared how the big win happened.
“Every time I go on a road trip with family or friends, I buy a Two Million Dollar Cashword ticket to scratch on the drive. I was in Sault Sainte Marie with a friend, and we were getting ready to head home, so I stopped and got my ticket per usual. As I was getting in the car I said to my friend: ‘Do you think people ever actually win on these?’
“I scratched the ticket during the drive and didn’t realize until I was done scratching how many words I’d uncovered. I counted nine words a few times, so I thought I’d won $10,000 until I found a tenth word a few minutes later. When I realized I’d actually won $2 million, I’ll be honest, I cried like a baby! It still feels like a dream.”
This lucky winner isn't the only person to win big playing the Michigan Lottery.
A man visiting Michigan from Maryland recently won $1,000,000 playing a Lucky Numbers instant win ticket.
A Bay County woman who had been playing Lotto 47 for 20 years with the same numbers hit it big and won $1.1 million.
And an Oakland County woman playing Fantasy 5 online accidentally selected a wrong number that resulted in her winning $250,000.
