A 69-year-old woman recently played her favorite numbers with the Lotto 47 and won $1.2 Million.

The anonymous woman lives in Oakland County and says she bought the winning ticket at the Cloverleaf BP, located at 28995 Telegraph Road in Southfield.

The lucky lady made the trip to Michigan Lottery Headquarters in Lansing to cash in the winning Lotto 47 ticket.

She shared with the Michigan Lottery how she knew she had won:

I’ve been playing the same set of Lotto 47 numbers for years, so when I checked the winning numbers after the drawing, I recognized them right away. I woke my husband up and said: ‘I think I just won the lottery.’ We got my ticket and looked it over and that’s when I knew I really had just won the lottery!

 

The woman took the one-time lump payment option and left with $832,000.

She and her husband now plan on retiring and enjoying their life.

This lucky lady isn't the only one to win big recently playing the Michigan Lottery.
