A pair of Michigan criminals thought they could rob a dispensary and cover their tracks by setting the building on fire.

That plan might have worked if they didn't catch themselves on fire during the attempted arson.

Video from Pure Cannabis Outlet in Monroe, Michigan shows a Jeep Cherokee reversing into the stores front door.

Once inside, one of the people is seen running to the back of the store to grab some product, while the other person starts pouring gasoline all over the store.

I'm assuming it was to cover their tracks, but what happened next was caught on video for everyone to see.

After using a lighter to start the fire the two quickly found themselves on fire after coming in contact with some of the gasoline.

The video goes on to show them running out of the store with one of their shoes on fire.

Thankfully the store's sprinkler systems were able to keep the fire from getting out of control and the store was able to be open the next day for business.

The store owner thinks this arson might have been targeted by a possible competitor.

Police are still looking for the two suspects.

If you know anything it would be very rewarding to come forward and contact police because the store's owner is offering a $25,000 reward for any information that leads to an arrest.
