Michigan State Police Looking for Suspect Who Stole a 6-Foot Tall Taxidermy Bear
A suspect was caught on camera "bear-handed" in a very "Kodiak" moment, stealing a taxidermied bear off of a porch in Allegan County last week, and police are asking for the public's help identifying them.

The Michigan State Police posted to X on January 27, asking for the public's help in finding the suspect. The problem? They didn't exactly get the best look at this "un-bear-able thief".
The suspect is described as being "male or female" with a thin to medium build. They were pictured wearing glasses and all-black clothing.

MSP was able to provide a much better description of the stolen bear. They say that the stuffed black bear is approximately 6 feet tall. It was last seen wearing a ring, a necklace, a fake sheriff badge, and a holster containing a toy gun. (I guess the bear is a big fan of accessories.)
The bear was stolen from a porch on Lakeshore Drive in Ganges Township.
Anyone with information about the suspect or the bear is asked to contact the MSP Wayland post at 269-792-2213.
