A Michigan Woman Ran Toward Danger to Save a Young Girl From a Terrifying Dog Attack
They say that dogs are man's best friend, and I believe that to be true.

My dogs Benny and Paddy are always excited to see me when I get home each day from work, not as excited as when my wife gets home but it still feels great.
While most dogs are sweet and friendly, some of them can be aggressive and at times attack.
That recently happened with three dogs in Hillsdale County.

On Friday, July 10th around 9pm three dogs escaped from their kennels and made their way to the home's front yard.
Around that same time two girls who lived nearby were riding on their scooters when the dogs decided to attack.
One of the girls was able to get away and go for help.
While that was happening a woman nearby heard the girls screaming and ran to help out.
As she was getting the dogs off of the girl they turned the attack on her.
The homeowner then came out and was able to secure the three dogs and get them back in their kennels while she stayed with the woman until EMS arrived.
Both the young girl and woman suffered severe cuts but are expected to survive.
I can't imagine how traumatic that experience had to have been for them.
As far as the dogs, according to the Michigan State Police they have been returned to the custody of the owner pending the outcome of an investigation.
MSP will eventually submit a case to the Hillsdale County Prosecutor’s Office to determine whether criminal charges should be filed.
