A New Girl Scout Cookie Is Coming to Michigan in 2026, And It Sounds Incredible
If your pantry has been feeling a little too empty lately, good news: Girl Scout Cookie Season is about to make its return to West Michigan, and this year comes with a brand-new flavor for fans to obsess over.
The newest addition to the Girl Scout cookie lineup are Exploremores™.
If you’re someone who buys a box of Thin Mints “for the freezer” and then eats them all immediately, brace yourself. The new cookie is basically Rocky Road in cookie form.
It features the flavors of chocolate, marshmallow, toasted almond-flavored crème. This cookie feels like they jammed the whole ice-cream-shop into a sandwich cookie you’ll absolutely convince yourself is a reasonable breakfast.
According to the Girl Scout cookie tracker, Michigan Shore to Shore troops will officially kick off cookie season on January 9th.
While they haven’t spelled it out, that date almost certainly marks the return of digital pre-orders, which means we’re only a few weeks away from filling our carts like we haven’t learned a single lesson about self-control. Booth sales usually follow in late January and early February, so we’ll be keeping an eye on their website after the New Year for those updates.
And while you’re getting ready to try the newest flavor, your local Girl Scouts will still have every classic you love. The troops can ship cookies nationwide again this year, and they’ll even have a special badge tied to cookie season and it’s new cookie:
So consider this your reminder that cookie time is near. A brand-new flavor, a fresh season of supporting local troops, and the countdown officially on. West Michigan, get your freezer space ready: it’s almost time.
