Willkommen!

The fourth annual Christkindl Market is gearing up for Christmas already.  The market is returning to the Downtown Market in Grand Rapids this winter, and officials announced the vendors for this season.

It really isn't too early to plan as the market is a monumental undertaking and thousands of people visit it each year for wonderful, and many one-of-a-kind items to make the holiday season even brighter.

According to the organizers, there will be more than 60 artisan food and gift vendors for the season according to their Christkindl website.

"From new finds like porchetta sandwiches, chimney cakes, and mechanical wooden puzzles to returning favorites like raclette, schnitzel, handcrafted pottery and jewelry, there will be something for everyone to discover and enjoy."

The Christkindl Market is a real European-inspired experience. And, it's not just shopping from special merchants. You can make it extra special by reserving a private Alpenglobe for some lunch, or dinner and drinks.

Also, you can go Curling.

How can you resist this. You can reserve a spot for the competition that we all fell in love with during the Winter Olympics that includes 38 foot synthetic “ice” curling sheet and eight curling stones. This is recommended for groups of up to eight.

The market returns starting Nov. 18 and runs through Dec. 24.
