Snow has fallen here and there, the temperatures have definitely dropped, and now the start of the holiday season has become more official in West Michigan.

This year, the station changed things up a bit and let the listeners choose when we should start playing Christmas music.
100.5 The River, West Michigan's original Christmas Station, made its annual flip to 24/7 Christmas music on November 21!

The switch to programming took place at 9 a.m. on November 21 in the studio in downtown Grand Rapids with morning show host Andy Rent, along with Janice Allen from FOX-17.
Another fun change this year - 100.5 The River let the listeners choose the first Christmas song played this year.
Christmas music will continue on The River with your friends Andy Rent, Michelle Heart, Jessica on the Radio, Lisa Marie, and Courtlin through the end of Christmas Day.
