Man Shot in Grand Rapids Church Parking Lot

GRPD are investigating after a shooting in church parking lot Monday night.

Fox 17 reports that the incident happened shortly after 8p.m. in a parking lot at New Hope Baptist Church on 130 Delaware Avenue SE.

A 19-year-old male and a 25-year old male were getting into a car when shots were fired.

The 19-year-old was hit in the foot and taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. According to a GRPD release, the 25-year-old sustained minor injuries while attempting to avoid the gunfire.
