Consumers Energy: More Expected to be Without Electricity on Monday Night

Consumers Energy is expected to cut power at 9 p.m. to allow crews to repair damage from Sunday night's thunderstorms.

Areas expected lose electrical power in the Kentwood and Wyoming areas where the tornado hit include:

• Areas both east and west of Broadmoor Avenue SE
• East Paris Avenue SE, between 29th and 52nd streets
• 44th Street SE, from Breton east to Broadmoor avenues
• Shaffer Avenue SE, from 44th Street north to 36th Street
• 36th Street SE, from Shaffer east to Patterson avenues.

Consumers Energy expects power to be out for no more than two hours.
