‘Smiling Volcano’ Is a Whole Lava Fun to Watch

No, this volcano isn't blowing smoke -- it looks like it is smiling. The volcano is in Kilauea, Hawaii, so can you blame it for being so jovial? It lives in Hawaii, which is pretty much the most beautiful place on earth. We'd have an ear-to-ear grin that stretches from Maui to Oahu, too, if we were spotted there.

There's no room for frowning in Hawaii. The tourist bureau is so good it's somehow convinced magma to look welcoming to a whole slew of out-of-towners looking for R&R and an escape from the real world.
