Sponge Bob Holds 7-11 At Gunpoint

Well, actually it was a man disguised as Sponge Bob Square Pants.  Sponge Bob suppose to keep his butt in a pineapple under the sea and chill.  Not turn to armed robbery!  Apparently making crabby patties wasn't good enough.

Really?  This idiot couldn't come up with a better disguise the Spongy?  Come on!  I love sponge Bob.  I don't want to think of my hero as a armed robber!  Dammit!  Now my love of Sponge Bob is tainted forever!

Detectives said the cartoon character was a first.  Reporters from WPBF television quoted officials as Saying,

"It's not unusual for criminals to disguise their identity," Osceola County Sheriff's spokesman Twis Lizasuain said. "It is unusual he would use that particular character."

Police say shots were fired, but no injuries.  Sponge Bob & his partner who was lacking a disguise got away with the cash in the register drawer.
