Tom Izzo In His First Coaching Job at Ishpeming High School [Photos]

Long before the "Iz of March" became a men's college basketball guru, leading the Michigan State University Spartans to their seventh NCAA Final Four since 1999, he was a high school coach in the Upper Peninsula.

He led the Ishpeming Hematites onto the hardwood back in 1977.

This is worth a look if only for the bad '70s haircuts and mustaches sported by the coach and his players -- many of whom look older than him.
