Tooth Fairy Is Total Cheapskate, Giving Less Money Than Last Year
Times are tough for the Tooth Fairy .
This year, she (or he? Who really knows?) shelled out an average of $3.40 per tooth. That’s an 8% drop from the $3.70 left in 2013, an indication that she may want to consider getting new investment advice so all the little boys and girls out there do a little better financially.
Certainly, the Tooth Fairy is not exactly a high roller -- she only dropped $20 under a pillow 3.6% of the time, down from 6% last year.
And here’s some advice for all you youngsters losing your teeth – you may want to hold out until Mom is away on business. It seems dads leave an average of $4.20, while mothers are much more frugal at $2.90.
