Power Outage Affecting Nearly 2,500 Homes in Northeast Grand Rapids

A large portion of the Grand Rapids' northeast side is currently without power.

According to the Consumers Energy Outage Map, the outage happened at about 9:10 a.m. and was caused by an animal. They expect power to be restored to customers by 12:00 p.m.

Traffic lights are likely out in the area as well.
